We are your dedicated sexual health partner. We offer STI testing (check out our menu above) with more services coming soon. We also have an easy, affordable self-collection STI testing kit that you can do from home.

Our clinicians are all sex-positive, trauma-aware, and non-judgmental -- and highly trained in all things STI and sexual health. With each screening, you’ll be able to ask questions and have access to our clinical team after the screening in case anything comes up.

We are not contracted with insurance companies at this time, although we are generally priced lower than the out-of-pocket costs associated with such visits. We also take HSA/FSA and can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.

We try to keep things moving quickly so that you don’t have to wait. As such, we ask that you cancel your appointment 12 hours in advance to free up the spot for someone else.

We can hold your appointment for 15 minutes but after that—it will be a first come, first served basis and you may have to wait until we can fit you in.

For the vast majority of our tests, your results will be available in your account typically in 3-5 business days. However, some exclusions apply. Please reach out to hello@tbd.health if you have questions about turnaround times for specific tests.

When your results are ready, you will receive an email to log in to the TBD Health portal to review your results or set up a telemedicine consultation to discuss your results with your provider.

If you screen positive for anything, you’ll be offered a telehealth appointment with one of our clinicians who will talk through your result(s), what that means for you (and your partner), and how to proceed with treatment. We can prescribe medication for both you and your partner for most things but in some cases, we’ll refer you to one of our partner clinics in your area. Note that for some STIs, tbd health is required by law to report a positive result to the applicable Department of Health.

We offer easy, at-home STI screening kits at your convenience. You can use our at-home STI screening kits in all 49 states of the USA excluding New York.

Yes! The tests we provide are in line with PASS's testing requirements. However, we want to be upfront about the fact that we are in the process of working meet performer's expectations around turnaround times. Currently, turnaround times are about 4-5 business days. We are working to significantly reduce these turnaround times.
